Majoras Mask had a lot to live up to but didn't recreate the same exact magic as Ocarina of Time did. It was still a very good game but lacked a little something when compared to earlier Zeldas.
The game played exactly the same as Ocarina which was perfect. But the story didn't follow exactly with previous Zeldas.
The main idea of the game was that you had to stop a giant meteor from hitting into the planet and the only way you could do that was to find the the kid in the forest who stole Majoras Mask from the happy mask salesman. One thing that kind of made the game a little annoying to me was that every three days, according to the game, you would have to start over from the beginning of the three days and everyone would forget you. But you would still have all the stuff you got before.
You would be able to get three masks that would change you into into certain beings such as a Goran. There were also other masks that you could put on your face and use like a normal mask.
Overall the game was good but not as great as Ocarina of Time. It kept with the same mechanics of Ocarina but with a much different story and smaller world. To me there wasn't too much room for replay. You could find all the masks which was kind of cool but the game didn't make me want to play it again after I beat twice. But still was a worthy game of the Zelda title.
