Quite simply my favourite game of all time. Why?
Its the way the game draws you in. I disliked this game the first time i played it. However i gave it another go and was immersed by the story, the characters, the graphics and the music.
You can name all your characters, making you feel part of the game. The battle system is excellent with a fantastic use of materia to upgrade your powers after more fights.
Not only was there the main story but there was a lot of extras to find as well. Such as extra characters, hidden materia, ultimate weapons, special limit breakers to make your team the best there is.
The graphics were good for the psx and they were complemented with great cut scenes.
Special mention is to the musical score. Its amazing with my favourites being in cosmo canyon and aboard the highwind. It truely makes the game feel epic.
Whilst the other final fantasies are great, this is still my favourite and truely must be experienced by all.
