Pros: Nice, well acted cutscenes; very nice graphics for the time; you unlock the original Wolfenstein 3D if you beat the single player game; fun and addicting online game; pretty good voice acting; pretty nice musical score; the SFX are all what you think they would sound like; old-school first person shooter gameplay; no platforming sequences (THANK YOU); added bonus of a whole mission tacked on to the beginning of the Xbox version; nice variety of weapons and enemies; lengthy single player campaign.
Cons: Some parts of the game tend to show the age of the graphics engine (but that could be my fault as I am now just playing this game in 2005 for the Xbox); crazy storyline that has you fighting nazi's, zombies, nazi's, bio-mechanical monsters, more zombies. The story doesn't make much sense and jumps all over the place; the auto-aim feature is sometimes more detrimental than it is helpful; sometimes the difficulty level is uneven; the controls feel 'loose' at times.
Most of my 'Cons' are just nitpicky stuff, though. What it comes down to is that if you like the old-school shooters where you just get a bunch of ammo, kill enemies, find keys or items to move on, and blow stuff up.....then check this game out. It kind of makes you miss the games of yesteryear where it was just a fun game expierience. And by this time, you can get it for under $10 at any used game store. Enjoy.
