Pros: Still a fun arcade-style basketball game; presentation is still solid; new 'superstar' player animations are kinda cool; informative play-by-play; nice selection of hip-hop music, if that's your thing; nice addition & depth to the dynasty mode with the hiring of assistant coaches; fun multiplayer expierience; there are tons of classic all-star players, but.....; still a fun overall gameplay expierience, especially with a buddy or two.
Cons; Graphics are looking really bland and old; player models look particularly bad; nice selection of hip-hop music, but I hate hip-hop music; the announcing misses some flair by taking away Mike "The Czar" Fratello; computer plays cheap on the boards; like the last couple years, there are far too many blocks and steals; just doesn't feel like you are playing a real basketball game; no classic regular teams, only all-stars; horrible collection of things to unlock like different kinds of shoes (who cares what shoes they are wearing?!!); just feels like a lazy port of last year's game with new superstar moves.
