Great game. My most favorite RPG of all time and that's saying a lot since I've played Diablo(I and II), Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Final Fantasy (the PSX ones at least), and Icewind Dale(both I and II). I've played this thing like four times over with different characters with each time as exciting as the first. Has great everything: graphics, sound, controls,lasting appeal, and especially plot. If you love games with a great story you will love Baldur's Gate II. Can be serious and fun with tense plot developments lightened with comic relief. You will also be playing it for a long time.
However if you haven't played the first Baldur's Gate play that one first since the story continues. Also this way you will get most of the jokes and story within the game. If you have played the first one then stop reading this and go play the game.
