I've been a fan of side scrollers since I could hold a controller, and Mario has always been there for me, in one form or another. When I initially saw Yoshi's Island for the SNES I was a bit worried... no Mario? Just baby Mario? After about 2 minutes into the game however, my worries were forgotten and I started to enjoy one of the best platformers around. My Gameboy Advance has basically been a SNES emulator for me, playing games such as Yoshi's Island, Zelda, Metroid, etc. and Yoshi's Island fits perfectly on the little handheld.
