After constant playing, I have changed my mind of Final Fantasy X. It is really a nice game which only flaw is the stricly linear gameplay. While it doesn't hold a candle to Final Fantasy VIII IMO, it is still a great game that RPG lovers will do well with getting.
The Graphics are phenominal. Absolutly beautiful. The game has real time facial expressions and details not found in other games. This game Graphically definatly pushes the PS2 to the limits. The CG cut-scenes are candy to the eye. The Graphics are backed up by heavy RPG gameplay that is really fun.
The Gameplay is strictly linear, which means that you basically wonder from point A to point B, fight some battles, watch some cut-scenes until the End of the game. While it doesn't seem all that great, Final Fantasy X still manages to be a great game to play. It features a unique character upgrade system and a great battle system.
The Sound is incredible. The music is beautiful and some great Sound FX.
The Story is what pushes the gamer to continue playing, featuring a unique story that is great to listen to.
Final Fantasy X definatly contents as the best RPG for PS2, running with Xenosaga and Suikoden 3.
