Metriod Prime is just one of those games that you own a console for. Xbox has Halo, PS2 has Grand Theft Auto, now Gamecube has Metriod Prime. The graphics are by far (In my oppinion) the best that Gamecube has seen. The mixture of shooting and exploring is nice. Samus has a lot of weapons and a lot of other goodies at her disposal. She can shoot her standard weapon, she can use an Ice Beam, or Wave beam, ect. she can use a Thermal, Scanning, or standard vision pannel. She can fins upgrades for herself, her morph ball form, and just so many other things that she can do.
The Action is definatly intense. A lot of things can be going on at once and you require you to keep on your toes. But a nice blend of exploring is also required, leaving a nice impression on the gamer.
But personally, this game fails to really keep my attention for long, I still havn't gotten far because comparring it to other gmaes, this game just sits at the bottom of the pile, I do intend on finishing it. But overall, a well desrved 9/10, Nice job Ms. Samus!
