While spurring much contradiction, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker once again proves Nintendo's grand ability to make outstanding games
The Graphics, while obviously spurring a lot of contradiction, are really good looking. The overall cartoon art style is nice and is a fresh feel as Video Games are getting more realistic and more violent. The characters look great and the environemtns all blend beautifully together. This is a visual treat.
The Gameplay stays extremely similiar to the Ocarina of Time in many ways. This game in general reminds me a lot about Ocarina of Time. Some things have been added, like the ability to counter in Combat, but for the most part, it remains the same exact mechanincs of Ocarina of Time. This is indeed very understandable, Ocarina of Time was a phenominal game. One thing that significantly separates this game is sailing as the main means of travel. While it can be fun navigating from island to island, it can also get extremly tedious. The game is too short and nothing happens that makes one say "WOW."
The Music and Sound is marvelous. Nintendo did an amazing job with the music and sound that easiley enraptures the gamer into the world.
