Chaos Legion is an amazing disapointment. This game had great potential and was consider the next Devil May Cry, which in my oppinion, still remains as PS2s best action game.
The graphics are rather wierd, one can look at this game for the very first time and say "WOW, a graphical masterpiece." However, as the game goes on and you look at it more, it all seems rather bland. Similiar environments and enemies that dont look great at all.
The gameplay is extremly bland. It all consist of mindless hacking n' slashing that does not take any strategy in any way. A skilled gamer might see a challenge in taking on all the enemies without calling a legion, but it all is rather too easy. Summoning legions may seem cool for a bit, but it takes no strategy. One can go through the entire game by only calling two different legions out of the seven availiable.
The sound consist of a wide array of rock tunes. While they sound cool at first, it gets tedious very fast to listen to.
Chaos Legino is extremly bland, but action game junkies may see a rent in this one. It may seem great a first, but it can be compared to a very short roller coaster ride that one wants to get of before its over.
