I honestly don't see what keeps Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution from being a perfect 10.  It is almost like the phenomenal Virtua Fighter 4 on steroids, without the weird side-effects.

The graphics have been imporved significantly.  Basically, they have been beefed up.  Much more detail to characters and environments.  I took one look at Kage from VF4 and the new look in this game and that is a clear demonstration right there.

The gameplay is truly amazing.  The characters from VF4 are all back and two new ones.  The two new characters make 15 playable characters in all.  Brad Burns, a Muay Thai kick boxer, is one playable character, and Goh, who uses Judo, is the other.

Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution has a surprisingly deep fighting engine.  In my oppinion, it is the best hand to hand combat engine ever made.  Two buttons (the triangle and X button) act as the punch button, the circle button acts as the kick button, and the Square button acts as the block button.  While this may not sound deep, the fighting is well-developed, and one with true skill can easily triumph over a weak fighter.

The Kumite mode from VF4 has been replaced with a Quest mode.  It is equally as addicting.  The gamer travles around the world (Moving a cursor over areas) and challenges a number of fighter there.  Each fighter has their own unique style, for example, two people may fight as Jeffry, but they will fight differently and it is clear, different strategies will be needed in order to defeat them.  Each fighters style has been modeled after Virtua Fighter 4's champions, which simulatesa n actual online experience.

The Sound is well done.  None of the sounds get annoying and the music is great, much like what is expected from Sega.
