Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem is a unique game. This game, while may be repetitive, is really good.
The Graphics are very nicely done. There is a lot of detail shown. Especially when there are scenes of explicit gore, a lot of detail is seen. The characters are nice to look at. The environments also have a lot of detail to them. However, animations are a bit awkward.
The Gameplay features amazing combat and puzzle solving. During the game, the setting changes from late B.C. to 2001 A.D. While this does get a little repetitive in the sense on how the game is structured, it's still very fun. The combat is not easy in sense that the enemies are easy to kill. The gamer does not take control over a super fighter in this game. But in one blow, one can take off an enemies head, but the enemies are mainly undead, so they can live w/o their heads.
The sound gives off a spooky tone. This is good for the sort of horror game Eternal Darkness attempts to be.
Eternal Darkness is a great game that any Gamecube owner must have.
