As has become the trend in RTS gaming, this game is merely command and conquer in the Dune setting with Dune related units. That being said, the graphics are sharp, the cutscenes top notch and the game world in general fun. The 3d camera...

Emperor: Battle for Dune is more of the same from Westwood. I find this unfortunate. Westwood's RTS titles have followed and almost identical formula from the first C&C to C&C Generals. Alterations in graphics, themes, and cutscenes will never do...

Emperor: Battle for Dune is the best "Dune" universe game out there.
It has great graphics and music and easy to use interface and tons of replay value. Music and cut scenes are also extremely well done.

This game has great graphics; strategic map and alliance add depth. However, the Al is a little sloppy at times. Evolutionary gameplay advances and classic Westwood combat mean a must have RTS game. Also try C & C Red Alert Series.

Emperor: Battle for Dune has to be the best looking RTS when it was released to probably about a year after it was later. Emperor: Battle for Dune lacks a few things in an RTS game, but it is still fun.

Poor A.I. and awkward controls, partially offset by the rich subject matter (if you're a Dune fan). Also, the "dynamic" campaign really isn't. It's simply scripted missions dressed in a strategic wrapping that has no real bearing...
