He's back, and more miserable than ever! Well, you would be with the life Max Payne leads. Everyone he meets turns up as a corpse, his apartment is a mess and he seems to be addicted to painkillers.
The game may be "short", but it's certainly challenging enough to stretch out the hours. Stealth, brazen head on attacks, bullet time, blind luck...they all play a part in getting you from A to B, with lovingly rendered scenery to keep your eyes busy along the way. Story driven, bullet riddled and graphically ahead of anything else in the field, it's more an interactive movie with no hollywood beginning, middle or ending to spoil the proceedings. Essential.
