Yet another port from an old SNES game, Yoshi's Island is a bit different from the previous Mario games. You control Yoshi, who must protect baby Mario while tring to reunite him with Luigi, who is also a baby. The graphics have an excellent child coloring book look th them which makes this game look awesome. The sound is great but the music is only OK. The controls while are easy to learn, are a bit tough at times especailly when you need to Yoshi's flutter kick manuever to float, but with practice this will not be a problem. The goal is to collect all of the red coins, flowers, and stars in each stage to get a perfect score. You will be rewarded with extra lives and even bonus atages if you get a certain amount of points in each world. With bonus games and extra stages to unlock, Ypshi's Island will keep you busy for a while.
