Anyone who ever played Neutopia on the Turbo Grafx 16/PC Engine probably gets the same feeling of deja vu I get when looking at this title. Far from reaching the loftiness of Zelda, Alundra falls short on obtuse puzzles and lack of ingenuity. Hailed as an RPG, this adventure game proved less fruitful than it's fantastically underrated offspring, Alundra 2. Hey, I even pull out Beyond the Beyond from time to time, but Alundra was one trade I don't regret.
