Thank God the name alone isn't the only thing Final Fantasy about this game. Unless you're a first time RPGer needing a heavy crash course in turn-based video games, this game is meant for the stoutest of players. An insipid storyline and repetitive enemy types make this the second worst FF game, behind VIII. At least one is on the Super NES, the king of all machines.
Mystic Quest delivers half-hearted gameplay with mediocre graphics, but the FF elements are enough to keep you engrossed long enough to beat this sorrowfully short game.
