As you've probably already realized, this game is simply amazing. No doubt one of the best games ever, and I wouldn't debate anyone who said it *was* the best ever. Everything and every part of this game is nothing short of amazing; graphics, sound, everything.
Graphics are marvelous. A giant map filled with seceret locations and seceret items. You'll explore mountains, castles, plains, a desert, etc... A wide variety of locations keeps this game from getting dull. Characters look wonderful, and just about all are unique. Effects are wonderful, and you get the idea.
Sound is amazing. There are numerous sound effects and songs throughout the game that never get dull. Just about every dialogue or cutscene has its own song to give it a mood. You also have an instrument in the game you can actually play (the Ocarnia, of course), and learn songs that are needed to continue the game.
Gameplay is fun, but not really challenging. Nevertheless, there's so much to do you can't really complain. There's various archery games, bomb throwing / running games, finding hidden items, collecting coins... too much to list really. There are few times you'll ever really feel bored with this game, which is downright amazing.
If you own a N64 you NEED this game, and I'd almost recommend getting a N64 just FOR this game; it is just that good!
