Pros: Fun, fast-paced action.
Cons: Ridiculous names of characters
Brave Fencer Musashi, a squaresoft game that could be compared to Zelda in some ways, was well-received by the public simply because it came with the Final Fantasy VIII demo. However, despite the fact it was considered an after-thought by many, BFM was well received by a large contingent of gamers.
One of the strong points of the game is the tongue-in-cheek design of the game. The characters' names are positively ridiculous. Someone must have created the storyline over lunch as all of the character names are drawn from food names.
The gameplay and sound are extremely solid. It is one of those games that never seems to have a slow point in the story, you are constantly flying by the seat of your pants.
Regardless of whether you purchased this title because you wanted the demo of FFVIII or not, this game is definately worth the $14.99 it probably cost about now, if that.
