When I first popped this game into my gamecube and started playing I was stunned by the amazing graphics. I, along with alot of other people, had doubts about the cel shading graphics, but after I played the game for 5 mintues all my worries were blown away (no pun intended).
The sound in this game is perfect. The music is perfect. All the music fits in with the current situation of the game perfectally.
There is so much to do in this game! I must have spent a good 15 hours doing JUST sidequests! then there is another 5 dungeons, a mini dungeon, and the ending castle/battle which is as long as a dungeon.
the battles in this game are amazing. the AI is smart too which makes the fighting so much more fun.
you can pick up enemy weapons and leave them with nothing. some of them will run around comically looking for a weapon (and they can even pick up a different enemy weapon) or some of the tougher enemies will actualy fight you with their fists and feet if they can't find a weapon.
LOTS of gameplay here..one of the longest games I've ever played if you include all the sidequests and minigames.
The story is surprisingly deep. Most people like to think that zelda games don't have deep stories, but this one did. you get to hear gannons side of things, and the ending was very emotional in a way.
not to mention that this game has the BEST final boss of any game EVER..even better than gannon in ocarina of time.
overall this is the definition of a perfect game.
