First fight: OH great another one on one fighter
Second Fight: Man the controls are so simple, this game must suck.
Third Fight: Wow the blocking is cool.
Fourth Fight: That counter I just did was really cool.
Fifth fight:...

I give this game a 9.3!
I have never played any of the Virtua series, but I must say that the control is very responsive and quick and seems very intuitive (even though there are a huge library of moves).
This seems to be a...

I havn't been a big fan of fighting games since Tekken 2, they just got boring to me. with VF4 thou I became a fan all over again. At first macking your own player seemed a wast of time. I mean you get another pair of shoes or hat...

First Impressions:
First off, the graphics absolutely rock. This is clearly evident when the camera zooms up close to your fight and he does his little trademark taunts at the beginning of each fight. This game really shows what the...

If Virtua Fighter 4 isn't the best fighting game ever, it is definitely the best I've ever played.
The gameplay is superb, and wonderful to say the least. Whether it be arcade, kumite, training, A.I. or versus, you'll have your...

I think I liked this version slightly better than Evolution. But the things I liked, customized profiles, and AI training, are also the things that would make some prefer the Evolution version. Other than that though, there really isn't much...

Well, to me the Tekkens (3 and later) seem a lot more intuitive, and not just because of pulling back to block. The moves and combos of Tekken make more sense to me, are easier to find and learn. Perhaps because I spent a lot more time practising...

If anyone said that DOA 3 has no competition on the PS2, they need to checkl themselves before they Wreck themselves.
Not that this game is anything like DOA 3 but it is definitely comparable in fun and gameplay and value to the game...

I don't know if this game copied DOA3, or if DOA3 copied the arcade version of this game, but, either way, they are very similar. Given the inherent similarity,I can help but compare the two, and, I feel that DOA3 is a better game. In DOA3, the...

Virtua Fighter 4 was released in March of 2002 for the Sony PlayStation 2. VF 4 was developed and published by Sega, and this PS2 port of the arcade game marks the first time a Virtua Fighter game has a appeared on a non-Sega console. The closest...

Virtua Fighter rocks, but it's not good enough to top Soul Calibur yet. And in my books, it still get's beat by Tekken.
But this game is still very VERY good. It's just SC was PERFECT and I'm a hardcore Tekken fan. That aside, this...

Virtua Fighter 4 is a great fighting game in which anyone interested at the least bit in fighting games should play!
The controls are simple, and the moves become easy to pull off with a little bit of practice. A beginner can easily...

Being possibly the only person on here to be able to directly compare VF4 against Tekken 4, I would have to say that, currently, Tekken 4 is not being played, whereas VF4 is taking precedence over any other game I have. Admittedly, I haven't been...

Pros: Tons of stuff to unlock. Really fun game. There's a kumite mode for single-player that'll last for weeks. Great training mode. I like the music.
Cons: Needs more characters. Get's boring after a while. There's also a lot of...

After Street Fighter II: Turbo and Mortal Kombat 2, I simply gave up on fighting games. They just weren't as exciting as they used to be - and frankly, I didn't see the point in them anymore.
Amazingly, Virtua Fighter 4 has brought...

This game is without a doubt the best fighting game in exsistance! It is so good that it actually converted me! I've been so pro-Tekken my entire gaming career, that I almost felt quilty when I bought this. But now I see the error of my ways. ...

It's Back. Since Saturns MegaMix the Virtura Fighter gang has been 3rd or 2nd (at best) in the fighting games war. DOA and Soul Calibur has taken over in the last couple of years. But wait VF4 is a great fighting game. Its better than DOA in...
