Overall score on pook's 100-point system (TM): 88 or just 9. A must play for tactics lovers

When I heard there was going to be a Fire Emblem game finally coming to the United States, I was a little skeptical at first. I was hoping for Fire Emblem to be a hack-in-slash game like Dynasty Warriors or something, instead of a strategy game. ...    [ Read The Full Review... ]

Addicting! Oh, so addicting. Once you are pasted the intro you will never put it down. But the best part is that once you have beaten it through once, you can choose to skip the intro. How cool is that?

While this is common knowledge to most RPG enthusiasts, the Fire Emblem brand is a long running one, seeing its debut on Japan's Famicom system (NES) close to 15 years back.  Fire Emblem for the GBA is actually the seventh game in this series, and...    [ Read The Full Review... ]

Finally a Fire Emblem arives outside of japan, one of the hardest strategy series the consoles has ever seen continues on the GBA, but is it still as challenging?

The awnser is simple: no, it is not as challenging as the SNES Fire...    [ Read The Full Review... ]

This is the kind of RPG Strategy I've been waiting for.  Before playing this game, I thought it would be another so-so attempt to compete with the Tactics Ogre series (before I found out Fire Emblem practically STARTED the console Strategy genre)...    [ Read The Full Review... ]

A warning to strategy gamers:
Do not buy this game just because you liked Advance Wars.  There are two things you must know about Fire Emblem:
1. It has a great epic story, BUT: You will often confirm more lines of dialogue than you will...    [ Read The Full Review... ]

This game is definitely fun and I am not a fan of RPG games.  What makes this better than others is for each fighting screen, you have to fight multiple enemies, making the action fast and furious.  The Pokemon and Golden Sun, etc.  are boring...    [ Read The Full Review... ]
