This game absolutely ruled when it was released. I can literally go on and on about all the breakthroughs this game made in my mind but I would be writing forever. The simple fact that you could fly to me was the ultimate in gaming. The "Letsa Go!" got my juices flowing like nobody's business. The world's you travel are nothing short of exoctic. I loved it when I lost jumping power then realized that it was do to a freakin' bird that had stolen my hat. So I backtracked found my hat and moved on, I never cared that I had to search a couple of world's again, to me it's all apart of the magic that was Mario. I say was because I'm writing this very late in the game. I do feel Mario still set and broke the mold with Mario 64, but he has yet to do it again in my personal opinion. If you haven't played this game you are being severely robbed. Please go and play this game. If you must buy a N64 do it! You have got to see why this game is up there with Zelda Ocarina of Time. Please....Yes, I am begging you don't let this game pass you up!
