This game to this day is still the best looking fighter on the Xbox. It is absolutely gorgeous. As long as you have someone to play with it's a blast but when it comes to single player it is about as deep as my 4 year old nieces kiddy pool. You have to hand it to Tecmo though, they know how to use the Xbox's hardware. This is one of the first game's I bought when the Xbox released and like I said it's still one of the best looking games on the Xbox, period. Now onto the single player aspects. Let me explain. The mode that is supposed to be teaching you how to fight makes you actually not want to learn. Once you get the basic counter moves down that's really where it ends. There are a few other combo's worth learning but even though you aren't, it honestly feels like you're just button mashing your way through the game. The so-called story mode has absolutely no story so that in itself is a true oxymoron when applied to this game. Pretty it is though. Yes it is still downright gorgeous. If you want to wow your freinds this is a good game to do it with. Just don't start trying to have some serious matches unless you're gonna play someone who knows some of the counters and combos. The tag team mode is decent but I think it needs lots of work. So pretty yes. Fun, well for a short while. It is worth a Platinum hit because it is worth maybe twenty bucks. I wouldn't spend more than that on it though.
