MP2 features almost the exact same graphics as Metroid Prime, but there has been a couple of improvements. The animations are better and lighting effects looks better. There are a lot more cut-scenes this time around, and they all look brilliant. This is absolutely one of the best looking games on the cube.
I can still remember the fantastic title music from Metroid Prime, and some of the tunes on Tallon IV was also very memorable. Echoes doesn't really feature that much music. The title music is very good, and is a remake of the one from MP, but now there are even some el-guitars in there, and it sounds very good indeed. The music while you're playing is also very good, but it doesn't really make much sound! You often can't hear the music, but it's there! This is actually pretty good, cause you can't get sick of them that way! The sound effects hasn't changed, and are still perfect.
The Metroid gameplay lives on. Every Metroid game has a lot of back tracking and so on. Echoes is pretty much like Metroid Prime 1, but there are a couple of things that's been changed. In Echoes you have more cut-scenes and the game is pretty much darker than the prequel. You also have ammunition this time! The dark and light worlds works very good, and reminds me of A Link to the Past. There is also a multiplayer in this Metroid game, which is pretty weird really. It works okay, and is actually pretty entertaining, but that doesn't make this a multiplayer game, it's just a bonus. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is a very good game, and makes us realise that Retro Studios was ment to create good Metroid games.

Good graphics. The music. Samus Aran looks great! The new suits, cannons and visors are awesome, especially the Echo Visor. The game is long, even longer than Metroid Prime. There is multiplayer
