My first experience with the "diablo" series was with "diablo II" rather then "diablo" itself, but when i had to resort to "Diablo" due to computer complications i was suprised by how similair the two were. My experience in this genre of games was limited at the time of its release, and it wasn't until its sequil that i opened the box. Its hard to explain what catagory diablo fits into. Its 3rd person view and 1st person action combined with its variety of charecters and their developement through the game led to an addiction to coffee as well as a devotion to my quest. each charecter is unique in there ability to battle through the under world of tristram. "Diablo" opened a new door to my older system as well as a new kind of genre, it will forever have changed my view of computer games and the industry of gaming itself.
