The gameplay is different though. Diddy is just like he was in the last game. But Dixie is a new character so that is a new element. There are new levels and enemies but they aren't as creative as the first game. There are also new animal buddies to help you along on your quest.
The graphics and sound of this game aren't that much better then the first DKC. The music is pretty similar and many of the same tracks as the first game.
Final words: Strong game but feels more or less like the previous game.
