Final Fantasy 8 and 9 were both incredibly disappointing to me. Then Ten came along and gave me hope for Final Fantasy games, then X-2 came out and I wil never get a Final Fantasy game again.
Gameplay (10) The same tried and true Turn RPG formula, you can't go wrong here. The Sphere Grid was very well done.
Graphics (10) When it came out, it was the best Graphics EVER seen. Completely jaw dropping.
Story (7) Very lame story, I expected much more from a Final Fantasy Game.
Sound (8) The Voice Acting wasn't all that great in this game, plus the music was great, but not as good as other FF games. Square is slacking.
Fun Factor (9) You will have a blast if you liked any of the previous FF games.
Finishing Touches - This game was really good, but one of the worse in quality compared to other FF games. Don't let the awesome graphics fool you, this game is lower quality than most of the other FF games.
