The first Smackdown game I have played since the second one. I recently got back into wrestling about 2 or 3 months ago. I decided to buy Here Comes the Pain and it ended up being one of the longest games to get sick of I have ever played.
Gameplay (9) The gameplay of this game is much better than any wrestling game I have ever played, the grappling system is one of the best I have ever seen. My only gripe is the fact that matches tend to turn into Reverse Fests.
Graphics (9.5) The graphics are the best in any wrestling game. Rarely any glitches ever occur as well. My only complaint is that some wrestlers don't look anything like their real life counter parts. Kane looks weird and HHH looks like a monkey and is NOT that ripped.
Controls (10) Simply controls, incredibly simple.
Sound (9) All of the sound effects are great, but some of the theme songs aren't their real ones. Due to compyright issues they still don't have Kane's music right and a slew of other people's.
Matches (9.5) All of the matches that have occured recently are in here (Even Elimination Chamber), but I wish they would add older gimmicky matches like the Casket Match, Inferno Match, heck even Hair Vs. Hair Matches.
Roster (10) Some of Wrestlings biggest names are here, too bad next years roster will suck with Goldberg, Austin, and Lesnar missing.
Replayability (10) This game has lasted me longer than over 90% of the games I have, this game will keep you occupied untill the next game comes out.
Season (9.5) Everything about season mode is awesome, except the storylines can get a little repetitive. But not that much, not enough to worry about.
Finishing Touches - this is the best wrestling game on the market, if you are a fan of wrestling go buy this game now.
Overall - 9.6
