Need for Speed Underground for Playstation 2 offers many hours of entertainment with tuning a car for the toys...

Graphics:
Many things were said about the stunning speed and the perfect presentation of Need for Speed Underground.  From my point of view there is only a single element not presented as perfect as described: The environment mapping on the top of the car.  The problem is that it slows down a little bit while you drive.  Beside this little thing Need for Speed Underground is as stunning and perfectly presented as you can read it in all media.

Sounds:
The soundtrack of Need for Speed Underground suits to the whole "we-love-all-women"-topic of the game.
It is a question of taste, whether you like it or not.  If you are into Hip-Hop and/or Techno you will definetly love it!  But otherwise the complete sound should be turned off and has to be replaced by your Home-Sound-System ;-)
(Who is interested: I LOVE THE MUSIC!)

Story:
In a racing game stories does not mean anything at all (This counts dor all racing games except "DTM Race Driver" -> German title).  If you like short videos with the "hottest bitchmeat" ever seen in a video game you should like it.
But there is another point which is interesting: The amount of circuits.  First the good about it: They sometimes differ from each other.  Now the bad: Most of them do not.
This is the most negative thing about this game.  Where "Metrpolis Street Racer" (1999-2000?) had three huge city-sides, Need for Speed Underground (2003) comes along with one medium-sized city.  A little bit sad at all.

Gameplay:
Here Need for Speed Underground shows its strength: Perfect handling of your car while driving and the RPG inspired tuning between the races are as innovative as nothing before in the genre.

Overall:
One clear statement: If you are into cars, chicks and tuning you will love Need for Speed Underground.
Else it perhaps is a little bit strange at the beginning because you won't understand why your car has to look like the motorised version of a "P.I.M.P".
But maybe you should give it a try!
