The game offers chaotic fighting fun as you can have your favorite Marvel and Capcom fighters face off in arcade combat.
The game is generally fun as there are fifteen fighters you can choose from, although you feel the need for more characters after awhile as the fighters become a bit tiresome to play with. Each fighter has their own distinct attacks other than the basic punches and kicks, as the game offers special attacks called Hyper Combos. Hyper Combos is probably the best part of the typical gameplay, as it is refreshing and a blast to watch from the usual basic attack fighting. Like many fighting games, you'll be spending most of your time button mashing your way through victory, which isn't much to complain about because I would expect nothing more or less from a typical fighting game.
This is a 2D fighting game, so don't have any high expectations on the graphics. Graphics are bright and colorful which adds even more to the chaotic atmosphere. There are many other modes in which you can play, but the main attraction is the arcade mode as the other modes are not worth much of your time because their...well, a bore after the first playthrough with the exception of the two player mode.
The sounds effects are definitely expected in a fighting game as the game has all the sound necessary to make this game complete. You'll hear everything from battle cries to explosions, which will keep your ears happily occupied.
The game doesn't have the best lasting appeal but it's great when you have five minutes to spare for some wild combat between friends and rivals from the Marvel and Capcom universe.
