I'm going to tell the truth, I bought this game not knowing what to expect. I had read the scores of reviews and wasn't going to buy it originally. Then I saw it and the price was right (half price) so I picked it up. I was expecting something like an enhanced version of Forbidden Memories (I was hoping it was more, that game was horrible). Well I was surprised and happy I was. Duelist of the Roses is more like Dungeon Dice Monsters then Duel Monsters. It is more like a tactical RPG then a CCG sim. It's a great game and I would recommend it to any Yu-Gi-Oh! fan and tactical RPG fan. But to the tactical RPG fan a warning, it is not a pure tactical RPG, it is a tactical RPG based on a CCG, remember that when playing.
