Ultima IX: Ascension, the end of a tremendously famous series, fell flat on it's face. It was released with system crashing bugs and so many problems that sales were close to nil. Because of that, I was able to buy a NEW one for under 4 dollars. Was it worth it? Yes. The graphics are superb, as is the sound and music. The problem is, that this game was too taxing on systems then, and is taxing now too! I have a 1 Ghz Athlon with a 64 mb video card, and this game still occasionally lags. The gameplay is pretty good, it's similar to other 3rd person adventure/rpgs, except with more control over stats and items. If you find this game cheap, I'd get it. Otherwise, you don't really need this game.
