Can perfection be perfected more? Realistically no, but in this case go with it. SMB3, guiness book holder of best sold game of all time, and ask anyone why and you'll hear it. Unique gameplay, vast areas, massive creativity, strange unexpected new abilities, short cuts, hidden areas, expansive worlds. Whatever it may be, how could it a portable re-release a decade later do better? Could it be the hotsave ability after each level? Well it doesn't hurt, but the SNES re-release it's based on had some saving too. No, the real kicker here beyond portability, e-reader use. Nintendo managed to make an all new world of SMB3 onto itself through the use of dinky dot code cards. Get a pack for a few bucks and you add extra items on the go, and all new levels to mess around with of which some are easy and others are just mean. If you're a fan of the old wanting portability or another go, or if you love it and wanted more (and have the e-reader) this one is for you.
