Well, another FPS has popped out.  This one actually has a story, believe it or not.  A fairly decent story, but it's an FPS...let's get shooting already!!!  The graphics are pretty slick in this game...no, not as good as Doom 3, but what is? Topnotch, non-the-less.  Great things about this game, and it is something that hardly ANY FPS will bring to you: 90% of the levels look totally different...and I do mean totally different!!!  Not only this, but it has many different types of enemies!  I couldn't believe my eyes when it seemed like every new level or two would bring a completely different mob.  That is something new out here in the FPS world...or atleast lately anyways.  Oh-dear, and if you want some boss mobs, you have come to the right place my friend!!  I couldn't believe my eyes when I got to the first boss...looming through the fog of a giant cemetery was a freakin' HUGE boss...about 15 times the size of the character!!!  Although, the bosses are a bit too easy to beat, I must say.  The weapons are quite nice...ranging from the simple "stake" gun with the grenade launcher alt., to the rocket launcher/mini-gun alt.  Yeah, that's right...two of the most favorite guns in FPS history, the rocket-launcher and the mini-gun (chain-gun) are one weapon (the mini-gun being the alternate fire).  The weapons are very nice.  The game-time seems pretty long as well, even on the easy setting.  Nice new things like the tarot cards that you can buy between levels adds a little incentive to do "extra good" on the levels.  If you perform a certain task like "collecting 0 souls through the level", you will receive a tarot card which you can buy.  This card grants you a certain power throught the next level such as 150% health or double-reloading times (they get MUCH better).  One major bad thing (major to me anyways), is that there is music that plays when mobs get near you....so forget about being surprised in anyway!!  Although it does help in knowing if you are actually done in a section of the level...when the music stops, the mobs are all dead.  That, and the music is pretty cool sounding for an FPS game.

I'm not too particular thrilled that the character turns into a "demon" to fight the enemy after collecting soo many souls.  I mean, couldn't they just have given him "Angelic Powers" for collecting souls that go to Heaven (*hint*hint*...Heaven).  Yeah, Heaven was the word...not Hell...if it was Hell, let him turn into a "demon", but it's Heaven he's fighting for.  That part really gets me, in case you haven't noticed.  Great graphics, great diversity on the levels and mobs, nice weapons, and cool bosses.  The other hand: Gets repetitive (what FPS doesn't though), not surprising in anyway, "demon" thing, and...well...that's all I can think of.  I give it an 8 out of 10.
