Whenever me and my friends are looking for a game we want to make fun of we start to talk about FFIX, and for a good reason.
I wonder what happend here, either Square just had the 'whatever we make it'll still sell' idea or if they really made this game this bad on purpose. The game has only 2 things that wheren't bad about the game the first was the graphics. Probably the most obvious. The second was the skills system wich was later also used in FFTA. Still in FFTA is was a bit more simple and fun. Now let's get on with the rest of the game: the story, you know i actually didn't pay attention to it in this game because i simple didn't care about it. It was too boring for me to even come close to enjoy it. I'd rather avoid the characters since that would be a target that's way too easy. And the battles wheren't really interesting, just the standard 'look at the thousand light effects and sounds'-effect square likes to overuse.
FFIX is a good example of bad games in populair series. Or that graphics don't make a game good.
