Wow, i can't say how much this game surprised me, since i was expecting something even worse the FF9.

After the last Final Fantasy's became less fun with each part i expected this to be the worst, untill one day i played it at my friend and got addicted: since in quality this game is almost right next to FF7!
The stat system in this game is pretty interesting to say the least.  Instead of just going up in levels and getting your stats, you can move your character on the 'sphere grid' one step with each level.  Almost every step you take brings you to a slot in wich you need to put a sphere to increase only one of your stats.
However later in the game you won't even have to use a character in order to make it strong, because you can then easily get a 'teleport sphere'wich instantly brings you to any place on the grid, that's the only thing that keeps the grid from being perfect.
In terms of story this game is pretty confusing, since it goes a bit deeper then people think, i'm not going to reveil anything story related.
I can hint that once again, a small group must fight against a corrupted organization that rules most of the world, a story that has been used way too many times, but still manages to stay entertaining.
The battle system is kinda refreshing, instead of using an ATB it's back to the basics, where the stats already got everything covered before the battle even begins.  The most interesting part of it is that this time you can switch between all of your characters in battle without even losing a turn.  In other words, this finally takes out the excuse for weak characters: wich in all other FFs is that you never take that character with you.

Final Fantasy X finally brings back quality into the series, now let's hope it stays there again, before the horrors of FF9 repeat itself.
