I remember seeing the game on a commercial for the first time, at first i didn't even believe it was a game because it simply looked too good.
Donkey Kong Country turned out to be more then the pretty graphics, allot more. The gameplay is even better the the graphics where (if you cant remember anything from that time, people reacted the same as with Metroid Primes graphics). And the game was pretty challenging and long, there where allot of levels in wich where also 'DK-emblems' hidden. If you really wanted 100% you'd also have to search for those.
One of my favorite things of the game was the differences between the 2 characters, and how often it happend that i used my least favorite of the 2 so that i'd still have the other if i would get hit.
Donkey Kong Country is an amazing game, not because of the graphics, but because it's so fun to play.
