Even though i wasn't one of the people who was having problems with the fact this is a card game, i have to say it was dissapointing.

PSO EP III C.A.R.D Revolution is like the name pretty much gives away, a card game, not in the style of Yu-Gi-Oh, but more directed at the 3D gameplay (not that it's noticable since this could've worked in 2D on the GBA).  Characters and monster can (and have to) walk around before they can attack.  And weapons can be equiped (with the Hero side) and monsters can be summoned (when playing as Arkz).  So far nothing as been screwed up, but here the biggest probem comes, the system deciding what monsters can be summoned and how much you can walk is a dice, in other words a dice depends everything in the game, throw a low number and you can walk and attack at the same time, throw a high number and you can summon a strong weapon/monster, walk AND attack.  This gets really annoying later on.
Now i wouldn't have been iritated by it if things would move a bit faster.  Instead they decided to make everything move as slowly as possible, and switching to 60hz like at EP 1&2 doesn't help you get past this.  To offer more to get annoyed by they also added the most boring voice they could find to say the phases of the 'battles', thing like 'Dice' and 'Move'.  The first few seconds this sounds weird, but since it can't be switched of you will hear it until the point you turn the sound off.

Perhaps this should have been a GBA game, or they should have taken out the dice and voice, and put in a little more speed.  Because the basics of the game seem good, the rest just ruined it.
