Naughty dog is probably one of sony's most popular developers. For a while it seemed like crash bandicoot was the mascot for the playstation. Now they have given up on crash (universal is making them now, and those games suck) and has moved on to Jak, a silent elf who goes on a quest to save his less than silent friend from spending the rest of his life in the body of a rodent. Jak moves through several beautiful worlds and collects items called power cells by achieving various objectives. The game is gorgeous and completely continuous (zero load times and seamless transition between levels makes this happen). Jak's gameplay is some of the best platforming available on the system. It uses every platforming convention there is, and many cliches as well, however. All these conventions are pulled off properly, so the adventure always feels fresh. I highly recomend this game, so go and buy it, and have fun collecting stuff.
