Beyond Good and Evil is exactly the type of title most gamers are looking for: an affordable game with a compelling story, colorful characters, varied game play and manageable in length. It's a shame then that more gamers have not picked up, what in my opinion, is the sleeper of the year.
The premise of BG&E is simple: things on your planet are not what they seem - and it's up to find out the truth. Along the way, you will fight, race, fly, sneak, shoot and take pictures (which become much more addictive than it initially seems).
And perhaps most distinctive, in BG&E, you'll find that there's always just "one more thing" you could do - a game play element that has been the hallmark of nearly all "hall of fame" titles (GTA III, Everquest, Civilization, The Sims, X-Com, etc) but for some reason has, until now, alluded the adventure genre.
For $20, there's no reason not to pick up this game.
