This is a perfect example of why the SNES is debatably the greatest system ever. NES introduced a lot of 2D franchises that had potential and a few flaws, and the SNES developed them and brought them to the level of 2D perfection.
Commonly consider to be the 2nd best Zelda game, this adventure has Link traveling back and forth between two alternate universes in order to save the world. The action is incredibly fun, the dungeons are plentiful, the two different worlds add a nice layer of depth, and there is a ton of stuff hidden across the kingdom to reward players who like to explore. Also, the game is huge. I mean epic. The worlds are large, and the many dungeons manage to never get repetitive. This is, quite simply, a masterpiece that needs by be played by every gamer.
