This game captures the feel of an old platformer better than any game since Symphony of the Night in '97. At it's core, PoP is an old-fashioned platformer: You run, duck, jump over spikes, and fight a few villains on your way to the final boss. But what separates PoP from old-fashioned platformers are the top-notch graphics, great voice acting, wild acrobatics, and the ability to manipulate time. The Prince handles very well, and every flip, vault, and wall-jump makes you, the player, feel like a badass, and not someone who spends their time playing videogames and then reading about them on the internet.
The game can occasionally get monotonous, and the final boss is way too easy, but with such great jumping puzzles and cool combat, you won't really care.
