Been looking around for a new "real" run n' gun first person shooter? Painkiller is just what you need! If Painkiller had to be compared to one game, it would have to be Serious Sam, actually, think of it as "Dark Serious Sam"...

Painkiller is an awesome game, plain and simple. It takes the FPS genre and distills it down to the core of what makes it fun: Shooting things. No overly complicated plots here. No subquests. No levelling, no dialog, no reading through...

It isn't the best first person shooter ever made but it is well done.
Painkiller's sounds are immense or should I say suberb. Graphics are pretty well done. The weaponary is extreme. Like the stakegun and the lightning gun. And...

Like to think? Like to strategize? Like to plan your attack? Me neither. That's why Painkiller is our best friend. :D
In Painkiller, you play a man who is stuck between Heaven and Hell after a deady (of course) car crash that killed...

This is probably my favourite game ever. Yes, I am a boring FPS (First-Person-Shooter) player and no I don't play a lot of other genres anymore, but I have in the past on every platform on earth.
Painkiller offers a lot of fun, comedy...

Well, another FPS has popped out. This one actually has a story, believe it or not. A fairly decent story, but it's an FPS...let's get shooting already!!! The graphics are pretty slick in this game...no, not as good as Doom 3, but what is? ...

"Unlike other survival-horror titles, in Painkiller it's the monsters that should be afraid of you." This quote comes from the game description in this site (which means it probably comes from the official site or press release). Jesus, who writes...

Painkiller is more a Serious Sam clone than Doom. The odd looking enemies will give you a laugh, but they are very deadly. No running in place face first against a wall or getting hung up in a door way as thought there were an invisable barrier. ...

First Person Shooters have begun to move away from their roots. Now, they all try to have "riveting story" or "an interesting narrative" or "something that resembles a plot." While some FPSs use this "story" to their advantage, making your hero or...

Painkiller is mindless blasting away enemies, Doom style. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but I can only enjoy this game in short bouts. Any more than a half hour or so, and I start to get a little bored.
Graphics:...

Painkiller plays and feels a lot like old school Doom. It's not a rip-off at all as well. It's great how this game was designed.
The Graphics are amazing. Very beautiful textures with amazing designs and models to both every...

The next wave of first-person shooters continues with Painkiller, a first-person shooter that combines next-gen visuals with the old school run and gun gameplay of Doom II and Serious Sam. Though Painkiller doesn't offer any gimmicks such as...
