NCAA Football 2004 continues to keep EA at the top in College Football.

NCAA Football 2004 is an all-around great game.  Many of you will realize right away a lot of the features come from NCAA Football 2003, which of course is a good thing considering how great that game was as well.

-Gameplay
The game feels very realistic.  AI is very improved on both sides of the ball and good play calling is significant to achieving victory.  Play Action and Draws are vastly improved with the camera angles.  Pass coverage is also vastly improved and leads to more defensive football then long bombs continuously.  This game is truly a great game.

-Sound
While some of the fight songs still sound corny, the sound itself is excellent.  If you break away during a play you will actually hear the crowd cheer louder.  The Commentary is still pretty good but seems repetitive after most of the same lines are from last year's version.  The game gives a realistic experience soundwise.

-Other Features

~Create a School
This feature has been upgraded significantly from the old version.  Adding in the option of chaning flag colors and choosing Mascots.  You get two more uniforms to create for your team as well.  Create a School is solid this year once again.

~Sports Illustrated
This is actually a very good addition to this game.  It gives you a sense of the hype players and teams can receive for doing well.  Also, this feature is very informative.

~Dynasty Mode
This once again is the reason why NCAA Football is great year after year.  Custom schedules, recruiting, redshirts, trophies, bowl games, end of season awards.  They are all here.  Also, this year they added Pre-Season picks to win these awards which is a very cool feature.  If they added Conference Awards then this would be perfect.

~EA Sports Bio
This feature is revolutionary and may become a breakthrough for EA games.  I have yet to play any other games with this feature but the potential of this idea is infinite.

~Greatest Games
Big Comeback or pull out a close one at the end? The bio will save your greatest games ever played so you can look back and remember some of those games.

~College Classics/Rivalry Mode/ Mascot Games
These are some other games you can choose from if you don't want to jump into a dynasty right away.  The College Classics are a good bit challenging.  These games provide some additional fun in just about every way you could ever ask.

Score - 96/100

Its hard to imagine this game getting better next year.  This game has it all.  Lets hope EA didn't set too high of a standard for next year.
