the first time i played mc2 was at my friends house with splitscreen multiplayer and i really thought this game sucked at the beginning because it was plain and boring just following arrows with nothing special...that was because he didn't unlock any cars or anything(which means no nitro,slip stream boost,2 wheel, in-air control, etc.) also he did not put in any traffic or pedestrians. so i thought that game sucked pretty bad and everytime i see it at stores for a whopping 69 bux can. i was like who would ever buy that..lol! so anyways my friend lend me it later describing how KOOL it was i was like wtf its so boring and plain...until i was bored and actually played the career mode...then...wow! i liked the idea where u flash hi-beams at racers to challenge them and hafta follow them for a while b4 u prepare for the big race. the ai of the game is realli great...and annoying!!! because of the reason u hafta be first place in order to continue to the next race, just when u catch up to computer opponents u will get REALLY happy and think that you have the chance to win, and then the next second...they will use nitros!!! so one second u catch up and ur all happy and all then the next second hes gone!!! there are many different things you can unlock such as slip stream boost (a boost you get when tailgating another car) but sometimes with the dense traffic i find it is not always a good thing to use boosts, since crashing is actaully a thing you do not want happening!
overall this is a decent game that delivers a lot...a lot of non-liscenced cars also lol! it can get difficult at time and you will hafto restart races many times! the replayability is depended on ur patience, i haf none so i get pissed often when not being able to win a race until like 20 tries. lol
