It's astonishing how much game is packed into this tiny UMD. Not only is this the best Syphon Filter since the PS1 game, it is one of the best games on the PSP at all. While the game itself is very, very close to Metal Gear Solid, there's nothing wrong with stealing from the best. And in that regard what Dark Mirror steals are great stealth play, lots of weapons that actually behave differently, different interesting tools, a nice variety of gameplay, and fantastic production values. The cutscenes and music alone make this feel like a AAA console title. There's also plenty of replayability thanks to the mission mode, and cool unlockable assets. The PSP is starting to establish itself as a strong platform thanks in large part to an influx of very good games like SF: Dark Mirror.
