Excellent game!  I've played all the other earlier Civ games and this one is a definite improvement.   
 
The way the territory expands as a city's cultural value increases is the best improvement, imo.  Though I wish the city's boundaries would increase as well.  The graphics is excellent, as well. 
 
All in all, a great game.
