Diablo, is just one of those games you can't get away from.  No matter what you do it sucks you in and forces you to play it.

Gameplay - Well you are a hero you travels to a town called Tristram to help rid the world of the evil Diablo.  The storyline behind the game is amazing, but the game somehow shines in the Gameplay department.
It a basic hack-n-slash rpg, but it's just happens to be the most addictive one ever.  You get quests either from the townspeople or from certain thing you find inside the Church/catecombs/dungeon/hell.  You get a wide array of weapons and armor to hel you on your way.  You have magic that you learn from tomes you'll find and you'll have a mana guage to let you know if you can pull off the magic or not.  Also you'll be able to buy/find health potions, mana potions, scrolls of identity and town portal scrolls.  All come in very handy at times.
You attack a creature by clicking on it and clicking on it and clicking on it.  This seems boring and repetitive, and it is repetitive, but boring it is not.  It turns out to be loads of fun.  To also keep out the repetition and boringness the games installs random generated maps so you'll never get the same map and random quests.  Random quests basically meaning quests are rrandomly thrown in.  You may get all the possible quests and maybe not.
The leveling up system is about the most important thing in the game.  Depending on what kind of fighter you want to be you have to allocate your points in the right places to correspond.

Graphics - Simply stunning.  being a game by Blizzard you expect nothing less than perfect and this game almost hits it for its generation.  The Cutscenes are still amazing and the in game graphics are also still pretty good.

Sound - Also another great aspect of this game.  Voice acting is superb and the music keeps you well into the game.

Replay Factor - Some of the best ever here.  The single player will last your for years alone while the multiplyer will also last you for years.

Bonus - Free multiplayer.  Many games you buy to play online you'll have to pay a fee, but with this you get all the glories of it for free.

Gameplay - 9.8
Graphics - 9.7
Sound - 9.5
Replay Factor - 10.0
Bonus - 10.0
Overall - 9.8
