A update to one of the best and most addictive games ever. Diablo to continues the story.
Gameplay - After starting the game you will see that your attempts to destroy Diablo were futile and now he has set out to free all of his brothers.
All of the hack-n-slash is back in all of it's glory. The weapon and armor system is pretty much the same as in the original. Only difference is some weapons and armor can be from a collection that an old heroe used to use. The more from the set you have and use the more attributes they give you. Also you can get some armor and weapons that have sockets to insert runes or gems. The potions are the same as are the scrolls.
The leveling up and magice is a little different. Adding points to to attributes are the same, but this time you have skills you can learn and upgrade with the higher your level is. The coolest thing here is the skills are based on what kind of character you are. A barbarian cannot have the same skils as an amazon or a paladin.
The Quests you will get are the same everytime you play. This I believe is the major problem with the game. The maps still are randomly generated though. Aside from the maps it can get a little more repetitious in this game than in the first.
Graphics - Splendid, just about perfect again. Blizzard just has this amazing ability to do graphics, I don't really understand it. The in game is great and the cut scenes are once again some of the best for the year it came out.
Sound - Exact same as the first. That means it is perfect. The voice acting enthralls you so much that you'll actually believe the characters actually are making the voices. Also the music is once again perfect. It never lets you down.
Replay Factor - I don't know how, but it's actually more replayable than the first. You'll spend years playing the single player and more years playing online. Some nice innovations online help to make the online experience the best of any game I have seen.
Bonus - Free online play. Just like the first you get to play online for free. There is nothing better than playing hundreds of hours online and not having to pay a dime for it.
